This annual Consumer Confidence Report provides you with important information about the city’s drinking water, its sources and the efforts to protect the water supply and its quality. The drinking water purveyed to you by the City of Harrisburg has once again been verified as meeting the highest standards. It is the continued objective of The Harrisburg Authority and the City of Harrisburg to provide you with a high quality water at a reasonable cost.
About the Department of Public Works
The Department of Public Works consists of seven bureaus which provide major public works services: City Services, Traffic Engineering, Vehicle Management, Building Maintenance, Water, Sanitation and Sewer. With nearly 175 employees and a combined annual budget of approximately $37 million, the Public Works Department performs a vast array of functions.
