MARKET STREET BRIDGE REOPENED TO TRAFFIC

Harrisburg, PA—Mayor Stephen R. Reed this afternoon reported that, as of 4:45 p.m. today, the Market Street Bridge has reopened to all traffic and can now be used normally.

The Bridge had been closed as a result of its West Shore entrance area in Wormleysburg being flooded and because of flood water damage to one of the turning lanes in the affected intersection. The waters have receded and the lane damage repaired.
