CITY OF HARRISBURG
NOTICE OF HYDRANT FLUSHING

The City of Harrisburg, Bureau of Water will be conducting their annual flushing of the distribution system, beginning Monday, April 26, 2004 and will proceed until completed. The purpose of flushing the system is to improve the quality of water delivered to you, our customer, as well as to ensure that the fire hydrant protecting your home is in proper working condition. The flushing of hydrants will be between the hours of 7:00 P.M. and 3:30 A.M. When crews are working in your area, water pressure may be reduced and the water may become discolored. All customers receiving water bills from The City of Harrisburg will be affected by this flushing; this includes some residents of Susquehanna Township and Penbrook Borough.

We appreciate your patience during this annual activity.

Stephen R. Reed, Mayor
City of Harrisburg

Trent Hargrove, Esq., Chairman
The Harrisburg Authority
