RESTAURANT ROW WELCOMES ALICE ANNE’S KITCHEN AT 322 N. SECOND ST.Harrisburg, PA—Downtown’s popular Restaurant Row today welcomed another distinctive eatery as Mayor Stephen R. Reed conducted an official ‘cookie cutting’ for Alice Anne’s Kitchen at 322 N. Second Street. The new restaurant features health-conscious American cuisine and the signature “Good Morning Harrisburg Muffin.” Reed said the unique new dining spot is owned and operated by Alice Anne Schwab, a New York Restaurant School graduate who has honed her culinary skills at the former Rasputin’s Restaurant and in extensive private catering. Alice Anne’s provides seating for 34 patrons in 980 sq. ft. of remodeled space on the first floor of the Presbyterian Apartment Building, and seven new full and part time jobs have been created as a result of the new restaurant’s opening. The Mayor said Alice Anne’s Kitchen is designed to be a neighborhood coffee shop, with fresh soups, salads and baked goods, as well as more traditional American cuisine available. Alice Anne’s is open Mondays through Fridays from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., with plans for expanded hours and days in the future. The distinctive new Restaurant Row addition also provides quality private catering services, and can be reached at (717) 232. 3002. XXX |
