RED DOOR WINE BAR OPENS ON RESTAURANT ROWHarrisburg, PA—Mayor Stephen R. Reed today conducted ribbon cutting services for the newly opened Red Door wine bar at 110 N. Second Street. The distinctive new Restaurant Row attraction features one of the midstate’s most extensive selection of wines, and will also offer light ala carte appetizers, or tapas, made in the adjoining kitchen of Zia’s Trattoria next door. Reed said the Red Door is owned and operated by Adriatic Associates, whose principals are John and David Brinjac. The upscale entertainment facility has an attractive new bar and main lounge area and two separate meeting rooms that can accommodate 8 to 70 guests, which cumulatively total approximately 3,300 sq. ft. The total cost of the project was nearly $500,000, and provides 12 new full and part time employment positions. “This is an attractive and unique dining and entertainment attraction,” said Mayor Reed, “and we appreciate the significant amount of new private investment by Adriatic Associates and John and David Brinjac in bringing the project to fruition.” Principal John Brinjac noted that the Red Door will offer a tasting menu of light appetizers, with very affordably-priced specials for both dinner and drinks. A signature attraction of the unique new bar, perhaps the first in the midstate, will be daily flights of as many as 35 different different wines. The Red Door will share kitchen facilities with the upscale Zia’s Trattoria fine Italian dining next door, which is also owned and operated by Adriatic Associates. The Mayor said Red Door will be open Monday through Saturdays from 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., with the kitchen open until 10:00 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, and until 11:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The Red Door can be contacted at (717) 920.0330. XXX |
